About Sarah

The name Capturing Yumminess stems from my love of food, cooking and taking pictures of beautiful foods (yes, I must admit I am one of those who makes everyone wait when the food comes until I’m done with taking pictures).

Growing up in Hong Kong and having travelled to many places around the world, I have been exposed to all sorts of yumminess since a very young age. In my spare time, you will find me either flipping through recipe books looking for new things to try, hopping through markets, cooking up a storm in the kitchen or taking photos of my creations around the dining table.

Professionally, I am a trained nutritionist and dietitian. I came up with the concept of ‘Cooksultations’, where I take my clients into the kitchen and teach nutrition through cooking. I consult two days a week at my award winning wellness centre – Healthy Energy in Glen Waverley.

I have a simple and holistic approach when it comes to nutrition:

  • minimise packaged foods
  • cook your own meals
  • use fresh ingredients; and
  • eat with gratitude

My other baby, ALG Seaweed, is also launching soon. Without giving away too much, make sure you keep coming back to find out more.

I look forward to sharing my journey with you.
